I bought this book so as to have a great book about crystals for the beginner grower. Now I just need to find a high school experimenter and give this as a great gift.
Excellent introduction to crystallography at a beginning level. The crystal growing recipes are proven and do work. Fun book for those who wish to understand more about how crystals grow and their unique structures produced under varying conditions. Definitely recommended read.
Great resource for educational purposes, but the edition that I recieved was older than the one pictured. Will report back when I try some of the crystal recipes for myself.

I doubt anything will ever replace this book as the best introduction to crystal growing. Given that it can be purchased for the cost of postage makes it even better.
A very well written book for people just learning about crystal structure and growing crystals.
Arrived used and yet in very good condition. Interesting book and interesting experiment growing some crystals.
